Different activities carried out through the Plan Venezuela Laugh at Christmas 2025, which began last October, are focused on bringing collective happiness, entertainment and well-being to Venezuelan families throughout the country, both to children, young people and adults, as well as older adults, reported the vice minister for Youth Organization and Participation, Darío Vivas.
“With this plan Merry Christmas, Venezuela Laughs 2025“We see how our president is focused on bringing happiness to the people, on bringing happiness to the communities and to each of the Communes and Communal Circuits,” added the official, during a special program broadcast by Venezuelan Television (VTV)11 days until the celebration of Christmas Eve and the birth of the baby Jesus in all the homes of the country.
When thanking the Venezuelan State Channel for this television space, he commented that all families are looking forward to Christmas, because the month of December is a tradition of joy and giving thanks to Almighty God for reaching the end of a year of work and effort.
In this context, he said that the Venezuela plan laughs, it seeks – especially in these times – to facilitate recreation and traditional activities within each of the Communes, Communal Circuits, Mission Bases, neighborhoods, urban planning, self-government rooms and public spaces.
“Throughout the national territory, to promote recreation spaces (…) they can be parties, they can be recreational activities, domino games, Creole balls, making hallacas and arepas, which are being carried out by different volunteers in the Recreation Network,” he reported, as examples.
Right to recreation and happiness
The vice minister asserted that all Venezuelans have the right to recreation, happiness and entertainment, especially during these festive seasons. “We all have this opportunity that President Maduro is giving us, right now, in December, to get out of that everyday life for a bit,” he exemplified, especially highlighting the escape from social networks that bombard their users, who are practically all human beings, with worries.
He also highlighted the impact of activities that can be done as a family, in groups and in places where there may be more influx of people. Thus, the organization of this plan for the collective participation of youth, older adults, students and in general Venezuelans of any age, are carried out in any community, to practice rubber ball caimaneras, traditional games and sports in general, among others.
“Because outside the news is, look, that we are “falling”, but here you go anywhere and everyone is already on the street, looking for the premieres, doing the hallacas and getting ready to see their mother or grandmother at Christmas.”
Finally, Vivas asserted that Venezuela laughs and celebrates this Christmas and the end of the year, and it is the main objective to organize these activities and recreational spaces and continue the happiness that we all deserve in the Bolivarian nation.
“That within us is the hope that there is a Venezuela that moves forward, that knows that here there are opportunities, especially for the kids, who perhaps right now during the December holidays, do not know what to do (…) The main objective is to bring joy, hope, it is to get out of the routine a little and see ourselves in unity, to see that here there is a people that is enjoying their Christmas,” he summarized.
