The mayor of the Cardenal Quintero municipality (Santo Domingo) in the state of Mérida, Yovani González, resigned from his position through a video released in the Municipal Chamber and uploaded to social networks; where he expressed that “after having rendered the accounts, after doing so as required by law, I have decided to leave my post to order.”
