Merchants from the neighborhoods of Flores, Floresta and Mataderos protested this Wednesday “a channel of dialogue” with the Buenos Aires government during a protest they held on Alberdi avenue, at the intersection with Ensenada, for the construction of the Metrobus.

“It would be very good for the Buenos Aires government to open an instance of dialogue in the face of the disagreement of the merchants and also of the neighbors”expressed and added that “this work was done from the desks.”

The mobilization was the third that they carried out in the last 20 days, which in all cases included a partial cut to vehicular traffic on Alberdi and the display of posters with legends rejecting the project, among them, “No to the Metrobus. Useless, unnecessary and harmful work”.

María, a neighbor of the Flores neighborhood, added her rejection of the future Metrobus by indicating that “it is going to bring more cement and it is not going to make the transit of the buses go faster because in this area there are no traffic jams, on the contrary, the cars They take six to eight minutes to do the stretch where they want to put the exclusive lane”.
