The MEPs Hermann Tertsch and Jorge Buxadé approached the area where former president Rodríguez Zapatero was recording an event and sabotaged his participation with shouts and called him the right-hand man of Nicolás Maduro
A group of VOX MEPs protested this Wednesday, December 11, in the European Parliament, in Belgium, in the presence of former Spanish president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, whom they accused of being the “right-hand man” of President Nicolás Maduro, during a forum on the violence against women in which he participated and which they tried to boycott.
MEPs Hermann Tertsch and Jorge Buxadé approached the area where the event was being recorded and rebuked former President Zapatero, whom they accused of being Maduro’s “right-hand man” and “advisor.”
“Zapatero, collaborator and friend of the narco-murderer Maduro,” said one of the signs that the deputies raised, while with another writing they condemned that the leader of the opposition, María Corina Machado, cannot travel to Strasbourg (France) to collect the next week the Sakharov Prize for freedom of conscience that has been awarded to him jointly with the former opposition candidate in the presidential elections, Edmundo González.

The security personnel of Rodríguez Zapatero and the European Parliament tried to keep the protesters away from the area where the event was being recorded, which took place normally during the hour it lasted; However, in the broadcast, screams could be heard, for a few seconds, at the moment when the former Spanish president spoke for the first time.
José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero left the area in the company of security personnel and just at that moment shouts of “murderer” and “200 dead to come to power” were heard from VOX advisors.
