He People’s Electoral Movement (MEP) party repudiates military operations that seek to generate false flag actions between the United States (USA) and the submissive Government of Trinidad and Tobago, by denouncing the obvious intention of provoking any excuse to justify armed aggression against the national territory.
“And we are deeply outraged, we deplore the submissive position assumed by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who kneels and mortgages the sovereignty of her country,” said the president of the MEP, Gilberto Gimenez, at a press conference.
“We are talking about military exercises 11 kilometers from our coasts, 6.8 miles from the Venezuelan coasts, and also that this is sponsored by the Southern Command, when we have military vessels in the Caribbean,” Giménez warned.
He indicated that the Mepista militancy joins the complaint made by the Government of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, whom he described as a “champion of dialogue.”
He asserted that Venezuela’s official statement alerts and denounces to international public opinion this new threat and a possible false flag action, “which is in full development and is evidenced by the capture of some mercenaries who intend to generate a conflict, an aggression that in some way promotes, justifies a military confrontation against our homeland,” he summarized.
“Our position of indignation and forceful rejection of the holding of joint military exercises between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America from the 26th to the 30th of this month,” he stated.
