He Corinthians has hired the Moroccan midfielder Zakaria Labyad, who arrives at the Brazilian club recommended by Memphis Depay with whom he already shared a dressing room in the PSV Dutch, as announced this Friday by the São Paulo entity.
Labyad, born in the Netherlands 32 years ago, was currently playing in the DL Yingbo of the Chinese league and will remain at Corinthians until at least next December, although his contract provides for one year of automatic renewal if he meets a series of goals, not disclosed by the club.
The Moroccan player has a globe-trotting career, which has taken him to Sporting Lisbon, to Fulham English and Dutch clubs like Ajax and Utrecht.
Labyad is the sixth reinforcement of Corinthians for this season, in which the club led by Memphis will compete in the Copa Libertadores, as champion of the Brazilian Cup.
