From the National Pantheon Monumental Complex and the Liberator Mausoleum in the city of Caracas, the patriotic honors were carried out this Tuesday in commemoration of the 212th anniversary of the beginning of the process of Independence of Venezuela.
On April 19, 1810, where the struggle for the independence of Venezuela from Spanish rule began.
A theatrical group recreated scenes of the historical deed at the gates of the Pantheon where the act was held and the authorities of the Bolivarian Government were present and paid patriotic honors, from the National Pantheon, in commemoration of the 212 years since the beginning of the process of the Independence of venezuela.
The Sectoral Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace A/J @CeballosIchaso1, Speaker of order of the activity, accompanied by authorities of the National Executive, recalled that April 19, 1810, the date on which the Venezuelan people began the process that would lead to absolute independence from the Spanish yoke.
“212 years after the historic cry that shook the ruthless Spanish empire, the union provides us with the strength to continue defending our full Independence and Freedom, which are the most sacred assets of this great Homeland,” posted the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez on her Twitter social network account.
The Mayor expressed that after 212 years of the cry for independence, the Venezuelan people have the same patriotic strength to firmly defend the legacy of freedom and sovereignty, “therefore the firm commitment to protect the legacy of those who made it possible for us to be free and sovereign ”, he highlighted in another post.
