The Caixa Econômica Federal website for online betting on official lotteries, the Caixa Lotterieshas had a waiting line since the beginning of this Monday afternoon (30) for customers who want to bet.
Upon entering the website, at 2:50 pm, the report from Brazil Agency received a message that the forecast for placing bets was more than an hour.
On the virtual page, the message about service availability is as follows: “You are in a virtual waiting room. Please wait. You will soon be able to access the application. Estimated time to enter Loterias Online: more than an hour”.
The delay in access occurs due to the increase in bets on Mega-Sena da Virada. The special edition has an annual draw, always on December 31st, and attracts millions of bettors who dream of the millionaire prize, which is usually much higher than that of regular draws.
In the Caixa app for smartphones, available to public bank account holders, betting is fully operational.
Slow
The Loterias Caixa app also had a waiting list for online bets and, at times, was inaccessible.
Bets can still be placed at any of the 13,000 lottery units spread across the country. But in the center of Brasília, the Lotérica 2000 betting house has also shown instability and slowness on the betting platform this afternoon. Mega da Virada
This year, Mega da Virada 2024 has a record prize estimated at R$600 million for whoever gets all six numbers right. According to the financial institution, bets that match five and four numbers will also be awarded.
Unlike regular Mega-Sena contests and other Caixa lotteries, the prize does not accumulate. If no player matches the six numbers drawn, players who match five numbers will share the prize amount.
To bet, the interested party must choose at least six numbers from the 60 available on the betting wheel. Games can be played until 6pm this Wednesday, at accredited lotteries across the country, via Internet Banking, through the Loterias Caixa and Caixa applications, in addition to the Loterias Caixa portal. A simple bet, with six tens, costs R$5.
Bettors can also participate in official pools to increase their chances of hitting the six millionaires.
Live draw
The emotions of the official draw can be seen live, at 8pm, this Wednesday (31st), on television and online, at Caixa Youtube. There will also be real-time transmission on the Loterias Caixa profile on the social network Facebook.
