MEF transfers S/ 156 million to the Minsa for the purchase of vaccines against COVID-19

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) authorized this Tuesday the transfer of S / 156 million in favor of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), to finance the acquisition of the vaccine against COVID-19 and other related expenses.

Through Supreme Decree No. 007-2022-EF, published in the official newspaper El Peruano, this transfer operation related to the public sector budget was approved, charged to the MEF Contingency Reserve.

The holder of the authorized specifications approves the disaggregation of the authorized resources within five calendar days of the validity of the respective legal provisions.

The rule also stated that the resources from the transfer of items cannot be used, under responsibility, for purposes other than those for which they are transferred.

This Supreme Decree was endorsed by the Minister of Economy and Finance and by the Minister of Health.
