Meetings began for debate 2 of the PND: what is coming for the project

After the approval of the project of the National Development Plan before the economic commissions of the Senate and House, this Monday the meetings started between the national government and the speakers for the second debate.

According to the National Planning Department, it has received more than 4,000 proposals for the articles which is under discussion in Congress. And for the second debate, regional forums will continue to be held in various municipalities of the country.

“In a constructive dialogue with the Congress of the Republic, we have been able to improve the National Development Plan and the five transformations that we have proposed as a Government of change have been legitimized. We ask all the departments to help us so that the investments have a national impact in strategic projects and in this discussion we have seen that the benches have united around regional issues that are consistent with our proposal for great transformations”, indicated the director of the National Planning Department, Jorge Iván González.

The government confirmed that the voting in the plenary sessions of Congress They will be stocked after this socialization, and are expected for the first week of May. By law, the project of the National Development Plan must be approved before May 7 of 2023.
