Meeting of transport leaders with the Ombudsman's Office ends: this was agreed upon

The Ombudsman, Iris Marin Ortizheld meetings this Wednesday with leaders from different sectors of the transport union, including small transporters, independent and non-union transporters, with the aim of listening to their complaints regarding the possible non-compliance with the agreements signed with the National Government in September 2024.

The day included two meetings: one with sectors that express non-compliance with the commitments assumed by the Governmentand another with a sector that considers that the agreements have been fulfilled.

In each space, the Ombudsman collected information about the points of the agreements, in order to understand the positions and concerns of all parties involved.

Based on a report sent by the Ministry of Transportation Regarding the 15 points of the September 2024 agreement, the points of view of the participants were heard to compile these concerns.

Now the entity will analyze the information received and define the steps to follow to find a solution to the points of divergence and provide responses from the Government to resolve the issues raised at the meeting.
