Lago Merín will host in October

The mayor Fabián Magallanes, who met in Montevideo with his peers from all over the country, said that “the meeting with the Commission of the National Congress of mayors who are members of Tourism Commissions and with Minister Tabaré Viera to present projects of all kinds, is also being summoning civil society, organizations and working groups to bring concrete proposals to the councilors and the Minister himself”, said Magallanes.
It is “an initiative of our commission to receive here in Cerro Largo on October 13, 14 and 15 all the tourism commissions of the Boards of the entire country, as well as all the Directors of Tourism of the Municipalities , but we wanted to have the high hierarchies of the ministry and we are coordinating it,” he said.
In this sense, he assured that “very nice news was achieved, where we found a place for the neighbors to present their concerns, since they demanded the presence of the minister and also of the agents that work with tourism and in the meeting that we held in the spa, when we held a session to make the decision to propose the creation of the municipality, in that meeting we received neighbors and they wanted the minister to be present and we achieved it, ”said the mayor.
In this sense, the meeting would take place in the month of October and make it coincide with the classic car meeting organized by Pablo Jackson; “I think it will be a very nice activity, a nice opportunity for everyone to talk to the minister, present their proposals to him and in this context we are now beginning an arduous task of meeting with all the municipalities, with the Federation of Mayors with the chamber of tourism in Cerro Largo, which is working well, the commercial center and well”, he said, all those tourist agents who want to be part of this activity will be welcome and I think we can take advantage of it to close the year with concrete plans”, expressed the mayor Nationalist.
