Femicide investigators from all over the country will prepare a first report on the commission of this type of crime in the context of a pandemic, within the framework of the Pisac Covid 19 project, an initiative of the R&D Agency of the Ministry of Science and Technology, for the generation of new knowledge focused on the study of Argentine society in the pandemic and post-pandemic.
The meeting will be on March 25 and 26 on the campus of the National University of Villa María, Cordova and will also be organized by the Federal Study Network on “Femicides in the Context of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Risk Factors, Institutional Responses and Comparative Public Policies in Nine Provinces of the Argentine Republic”
At the meeting, the first report will be presented at the time that instances of qualitative reflection on the data obtained, referential frameworks on the problem will be exposed and experiences will be shared.
The I+D+i Agency selected 19 projects made up of a total of 210 research groups (or nodes), distributed in 43 national universities and 20 other public and private institutions to investigate different aspects of Argentine society in the pandemic and post-pandemic.
