The Secretary of Domestic Trade, Roberto Feletti, will meet this Friday with the main companies in the food sector after having detected a drop in the supply of products that make up the Care Prices program in supermarkets.

The companies were summoned to the meeting -which will take place at 11 Mills, Arcor, Unilever, Mondelez, Danone, Mastellone and Nestlésources from the Ministry of Domestic Trade informed Télam.

In recent inspections, the Secretariat noticed some shortages in the gondolas corresponding to products of the Care Prices program, so expects to analyze with the companies the reasons that affect the normal supply of the agreement.

On Thursday morning, the spokeswoman for the Presidency, Gabriela Cerruti, stated that April’s inflation will be “slightly lower” than the 6.7% registered in March, although she warned that “this does not mean that it will no longer be a problem” with which one is going “to have to continue dealing with the whole year”.

“The government is focused on sustaining growth and that it be with redistribution,” Cerruti said.
