Both had promised a press conference after about three hours of conversation in the military base of Elmendorf-Richardson, but they only gave themselves a handshake at the end of their speeches and left without responding to journalists. Trump announced that he could see the Russian president “very soon”, to which Vladimir Putin replied, in English, “next time in Moscow.”
Meeting with Ukraine
Donald Trump declared on Saturday that Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky will be received on Monday afternoon at the Oval Office of the White House, in Washington.
“If everything goes well, we will schedule a meeting with President (Russian Vladimir) Putin,” he said in a message posted on the Social Truth Social Network.
