Only in the jurisdiction of Huancayo, during the year 2021, a total of 16 thousand 427 interventions by Citizen Security agents. Of which the majority were for misdemeanors and about 30 for assault with a firearm. There are seven neighborhoods where they exceeded a thousand interventions.
The neighborhoods where the highest number of interventions and delinquency were recorded are Corazón Wanka (2,730), Inmaculada (1,632), Pultuquia (1,155), Ocopilla (1,068), San Carlos (1,060), Madre Wanka (1,055 ) and Yauris (911).

“In 2021, the intervention of 30 crimes was achieved due to robbery with a firearm in which foreigners such as Venezuelans and Colombians were involved. After applying strategies in the Checkerboard of the Market, the delinquency went to the outskirts of the city where we are also patrolling with all the units”, informed the Manager of Citizen Security of Huancayo, Orlando Loardo Núñez.
No formation of criminal gangs was identified, so the official ruled out requesting an emergency.
