The care and respect for animals is becoming more and more present, where we have seen how over time, humans have understood the importance of treating our pets as a member of the family, with all that that entails.
Unfortunately, not all animals have the opportunity to have a home and a human companion. According to the national census of dogs and cats carried out by the Catholic University Y SUBDERE this year, in Chile, there are around 4 million abandoned puppies and cats. Fortunately, today, there are many organizations and foundations that seek to welcome and care for these animals without shelter.
This is why our pets will once again see us evolve with the birth of the Chilean animal aid startup Clubi, a collaborative platform that allows you to sponsor abandoned dogs and cats from different foundations and animal care organizations such as Fundación Alma, Ciudad Animal and Callejeritos de la Vega, who have more than 300 animals in their care and hope to help many more thanks to this initiative.
Clubi turns pet food into a meaningful purchase, since all its profits are given in full to the foundations through sponsorship, thus turning all pet owners into donors and collaborators of this great community.
Andrea Weber, Co Founder of Clubi comments: “Driven by responsibility and love for our pets and especially for those who are homeless and helpless, we want to make a difference and be a contribution to reduce the deficiencies in their care. We want to help everyone who needs it, indifference and lack of action make us uncomfortable, we want to make the problem visible and lead in solutions, that is Clubi”.
The startup wants to help with concrete and impactful actions, understanding that they cannot do it alone, so they seek to create an active, conscious and accurate community.
“Our e-commerce platform has a wide assortment of food brands and accessories at market prices, which allows this project to be sustainable. We hope to be able to help many abandoned animals, transforming ourselves into the constant and permanent financing of foundations, so that they, in turn, can concentrate on doing their work and not be worried about managing resources”. Emphasizes Ariel Guzmán, Co-Founder of Clubi.
The platform, which seeks to be the main economic support for the different foundations, is very simple to use, quick to acquire your products with same-day shipments and, most importantly, donate to be part of this great community.
Clubi was born in October 2020, from the idea of a couple of friends, Andrea Weber and Ariel Guzman, to respond to a serious problem: the abandonment and lack of help for animals that are abandoned and invisible to many. So they decided to create a non-profit enterprise capable of financially helping animal care foundations and trying to be a contribution to this conflict.
Its friendly platform sells food and accessories for pets, whose profits are donated entirely to different foundations that work day by day protecting animals that live in less than ideal conditions.
Starting from our country, they seek to amplify their message and purpose to achieve a community that crosses borders.
