Once Dina Boluarte sworn in to be the new president of the country, new ministers could be added to the ministerial cabinet led by Pedro Angulo Arana. The new members are eight women.
This act was done in large part to correct the attitudes of the former president, Pedro Castillo, and his elected ministers, who many labeled as macho, having only 2 women in his ministerial cabinet.
