Seeking to improve the quality of learning in technical education, the Ministry of Education (Meduca) transferred equipment, machine tools, didactic modules and tools for high school students in construction, electricity and autotronics from at least four institutes professionals and technicians (IPT).
These are approximately 500 high school graduates from the Arts and Crafts IPT, Ángel Rubio, San Miguelito and Jeptha B. Duncan who received these inputs that will serve to complement the learning they receive in the classroom.
The investment in these equipment exceeds B/.500,000 and Meduca managed them as part of the intervention in technical education for a substantial improvement, through the National Directorate of Secondary, Professional and Technical Education.
“The equipment that has been delivered is sophisticated and the teachers of these schools are required to receive training for its use, since they are new equipment that is at the forefront of current technology,” explained the National Director of Secondary Education, Professional and Technique, Carlos González.
They are educational modules on electricity, modern vehicle engines, tools for use in workshops. Total stations were purchased for construction. In autotronics, a car lift, wheel graders, cranes, presses, scanners, among others.
The School of Arts and Crafts received didactic modules and tools for the electricity baccalaureate. Jeptha B. Duncan obtained for his students construction equipment or total stations.
They gave Ángel Rubio and IPT San Miguelito, for the autotronics baccalaureate, didactic equipment, modules, workshop equipment and tools. Each school will make the transfers of these elements and will develop adaptations of their physical spaces for their installation.
Meanwhile, Arturo Martínez, director of the IPT Jeptha B. Duncan, said that the topography equipment they received is very important in the construction baccalaureate, because it allows the student to combine the practical part with the theory and it is new equipment that increases knowledge.
