Meduca trains 3,000 teachers in sexuality and affectivity guides

With the responsibility of providing comprehensive education to children and adolescents, the Ministry of Education (Meduca) trained 3,022 teachers this year in the management of guidance and training guides on education in sexuality and affectivity, according to the grade assigned in your school.

With the implementation of the guides in schools, a total of 45,203 people benefited during the year; 15,422 students at the primary level; 11,542 average; 6,920 on average and 8,297 parents (including School for Parents).

For the 2023 school period, it is planned to continue with the teacher training process and the implementation of the guides for students and parents.

Five guides were made, namely: for students of primary general basic education (1st – 6th); for pre-media general basic students (7th – 9th); as well as for those of secondary education (10th – 12th); for pregnant adolescents, adolescent mothers and their parents, mothers or guardians and for fathers, mothers or guardians of students in general basic education (1st-9th) and secondary education (10th-12th).
