MEDUCA suspends classes in the province of Colón this November 21

Through a statement, the Ministry of Education decided to suspend classes this Monday, November 21 in the province of Colón, due to the heavy rains that continue in the area and that have caused damage in different parts of the province.

“The ministry continues to monitor the weather forecasts of the Hydrometeorological Directorate of the electric transmission company (ETESA) in case the rains continue, since it requests the educational communities to stay informed through the Meduca, Sinaproc or ETESA channels” says the statement.

This morning the tragic news of the death of a father and his son was given due to a landslide in the Cativá area and the bad weather has caused several rivers and streams to overflow their banks.
