The swearing-in of the Government Spokespersons in New York was in charge of Federico Reynoso, who assured that he will announce the actions of President Luis Abinader to the diaspora residing in North America.
The activity, attended by authorities and representatives of the Quisqueyana community in the Big Apple, was coordinated by the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in New York, led by Eligio Jáquez.
The government official explained that the objective of the swearing-in is to promote the actions of the government of the Dominican Republic among the Diaspora residing abroad that amounts to 2,531,638 in the world.
Federico Reynoso pondered the contribution that the diaspora makes to the Dominican economy through the remittances sent by their relatives to purchase homes and others that in the last semester, January to June 2022, the government received 4,057.02 million dollars.
The official recalled that President Luis Abinader has placed emphasis on keeping the Government close to citizens, both inside and outside the country, and that the spokesperson project follows the same objective so that every Dominican abroad can be duly informed. of all the executions of the State, in favor of the citizens.
Reynoso pointed out that the Government has developed many actions in favor of residents abroad, such as property titling programs, the installation of Infotep, Senasa, the Intrant, Happy Homes, the Imposdom and the Reserve Bank will soon be installed. .
For his part, the Dominican consul in New York highlighted the importance of spokespersons to project in the media the actions of President Luis Abinader and his government both in the Dominican Republic and abroad.
