A pioneering commitment is born from Medellín: iA School, the new school of applied artificial intelligence
With the purpose of transforming professional education in Latin America, it was born in Medellin “iA School”the first Latin American school dedicated to the training of professionals in applied artificial intelligence.
The project was founded by a group of former magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice, businessmen, lawyers, law firms and academics, consolidating a unprecedented alliance between legal thought, academia and the productive sector of the region.

The initiative arose in Medellín, recognized for its innovation ecosystem and his leadership in digital transformation. The capital of Antioquia seeks to reinforce its position as the epicenter of technological talent in Colombia and Latin America, going from being a benchmark in urban innovation to becoming a key point for professional training in artificial intelligence.
The head of the institution was appointed union leader Rodolfo Correa, who highlighted the transformative nature of the project. “We cannot continue training in new technologies with old educational models. iA School will not provide cardboard to stick on the wall, but companies capable of generating wealth to their students, leveraged “transformative power of artificial intelligence”he stated.
He educational model of “iA School” combines academic rigor and applied practice through a format six month hybridoriented to professionals from various areas such as law, accounting, administration, engineering and communication.
The methodology seeks for participants to acquire both the technical skills like the idigital infrastructure necessary to turn artificial intelligence into a professional productivity tool.
According to the former president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Jaime Arrubla Paucarstrategic sponsor of the initiative, “In this school we combine knowledge, experience, innovation and trust: bases for the transition of Latin American professionals towards a new era marked not by an educational model, but by a education-based productivity model”.

The firstcohort opened the October 24, 2025with the launch of the program iA Legal Tech Manager, designed exclusively for lawyers interested in transforming their traditional offices in smart digital companies.
