The Enrique Olaya Herrera International Airport in Medellín reported this Saturday that it is now operating normally, after an incident that occurred in the morning that led to the temporary closure of the air terminal.
According to Civil Aeronautics, The closure was due to a Cessna 402C aircraft, with registration HK5245, leaving the runway.apparently due to problems in the front axle.
After the report of this incident, the Accident Investigation Technical Directorate assumed the investigations of this event, of the flight that covered the Bajo Baudó-Medellín route.
Depending on the airport, During the temporary closure, 3 outbound flights were canceled and 8 more were delayed.
For its part, 3 other arriving flights were canceled and 7 more had delays as a result of the cessation of operations.
The air terminal called on users to check with the airlines about the status of their itineraries.
