Mayor Claudia López announced the main measures that will have to be fulfilled in Bogotá during the festive Halloween bridge (from October 29 to November 1).
“During these days there are many activities in our city and that requires us to increase security measures. Several high-impact events are coming that require citizen effort“said the mayor.

What López refers to is soccer matches, the bridge exodus plan, the Bogotá 24-hour event in 13 areas of the city, Halloween celebrations for children and adults, a concert that will take place in El Park. Tunal and, finally, the return plan.
Thus, among the measures taken is the restriction of the barbecue on a motorcycle during the following days (from Friday at 6 pm to Monday at midnight).

It was also recommended to parents not take the children out trick-or-treating During Halloween night, to avoid risks related to the contagion of covid, be careful with toxic paints and always wear a mask.
Regarding the caravans that some citizens have called through social networks, the mayor indicated that they will disperse them “so as not to affect mobility in the city“.
During these days, Bogotá will have 17,000 uniformed men throughout the city. They will be joined by 2,023 reinforcement men from the General Police Directorate and the Security Secretariat will have personnel in 102 high concentration points (320 managers in total and a security coordinator for each locality).
