The recent closure of a local McDonald’s in Santiago has generated great attention, especially among the residents of Huechuraba. This week, the Municipality of said commune issued a statement through its social networks, informing about the closure of the establishment located at Avenida Pedro Fontova N°6121. This establishment, known for its high influx of customers, was closed due to serious irregularities in its operation.

Why was the McDonald’s location in Santiago closed?

According to Mayor Carlos Cuadra Prats, the decision of close down The premises were taken over after serious problems were found in the building’s infrastructure. The main reason was the lack of permits and receptions that guarantee the safety of visitors. These types of requirements are essential for any business to operate legally in the commune, and the lack of compliance in this case put customers at risk.
