The parliamentary group of Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) in the Chamber of Deputies joined the controversy filed by the National Electoral Institute (INE) against the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH), by presenting before the Supreme Court of the Nation a supporting brief.
MC considered that by making pronouncements on the electoral reform, the CNDH adopts an interventionist position in the Legislative Power and violates the Constitution by addressing issues in which it has no jurisdiction.
Signed by the coordinator of the bench, Jorge Álvarez, the document asks to investigate and sanction the responsible for misuse
of the commission. Also that the use be declared as serious factious
of state institutions.
On November 15, the INE filed a constitutional controversy against the CNDH, after it questioned the autonomy and independence of the electoral body before partisan, economic and social groups.
In turn, the CNDH filed a dispute against the INE on November 8 for dismissing the commission’s power to protect the political and electoral rights of citizens.
Meanwhile, the PRD filed a complaint with the INE against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum; the Secretary of Energy, Rocío Nahle; the governor of Puebla, Miguel Barbosa, and the leader of Morena, Mario Delgado, among others, for the call to the march on November 27
since it is about the improper promotion of a campaign at the national level
.
indicated that it is a custom propaganda
in which public resources are used, and that the fourth Report was already legally made on September 1, therefore the march violates the Magna Carta.
