Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé does not reduce the pressure on his previous club, Paris Saint-Germain, from whom he claims 55 million euros in delays in the payment of his latest salaries and bonuses.
After several instances of the Professional Football League (LFP) agreed and the appeal presented by the club to the French Football Federation (FFF) arrived out of time, the player has taken a new step to claim that sum. .
According to several French media, Mbappé has gone to the LFP disciplinary commission, which will have a hearing on the 11th.
That body already analyzed the case last September and proposed mediation, which was rejected by the forward, as was the case in the next one, the legal commission, which did so on October 25.
Now, Mbappé wants to follow the legal course of his demand for 55 million euros.
The club, for its part, is waiting for all appeals before the sporting authorities to be completed to bring the case to ordinary justice.
At the center of the conflict are 55 million euros, in salary and bonuses, that PSG retained from Mbappé based on a verbal agreement between the two, to unblock the decision of the Qatari owners of the French club to remove him from the first team. at the beginning of last season.
That deal, which Mbappé alluded to on occasion before the press, is what PSG clings to in order not to pay that sum, but the player’s lawyers consider it invalid and expired.
It is the climax of a relationship that deteriorated over the years and ended up ending falsely.
Mbappé signed a two-year extension of his contract with PSG in 2022, plus an additional season. Shortly before the end of the first season, he made it known that he did not want to activate that clause for a third year, which led the club to issue him an ultimatum: either renewal or departure from the club that same summer of 2023.
As a measure of pressure, he removed him from the discipline of the first team, which Luis Enrique had just taken over, for several weeks.
To unblock the situation and allow the forward to return to the first team, both the club and the player assured that they had reached an agreement so that his departure would not occur without leaving money in the Parisian coffers.
For PSG, this agreement concerns those 55 million, but Mbappé considers that the pact was expired and contained hidden clauses.
