Mazatlán, Sinaloa January 17, 2025.- Meeting with businessmen from the tourism and economic sector, as well as representatives of the Mazatlan chambers and organizations, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, accompanied by Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez and Senator Enrique Inzunza, presented the 3 projection and development works to be built in Mazatlán, for which an investment of 600 million pesos is projected.
The state president explained that these works include the construction of the landfill, with an investment of 100 million pesos; the construction of the 360-meter-long overpass on the México 15 highway and Blvd. Pérez Escobosa, with an investment of 420 million pesos, and the construction of the storm drainage and pumping station on Camarón Sábalo avenue, with an investment of 78 million pesos. “We have scheduled and authorized these works by Congress and we are going to move them forward. There is not a single municipality in the state that has not been happy because we have scheduled work for them,” stressed Rocha Moya.
Likewise, he called on businessmen not to stop investing throughout Sinaloa, “Do not stop investing, you invest and we take care of your investment,” he noted, adding that, thanks to the security strategy that has been implemented, Mazatlán has been shielded and acts of violence have decreased.
The Governor concluded his participation by stating, “We are going to have Carnival and we are going to take care of them.”
