Santo Domingo.- It transpired that the mayor of the Sánchez municipality, Samaná, would have canceled a worker from the Cleaning Department of that council for having thrown a dog into a garbage truck.
Through a video captured by a security camera, it can be seen how the employee of the councilwho was picking up some solid waste from the ground, sees the dog go by, and without hesitation, throws it into the container.
Looking to the sides, the worker returns inside the truck and leaves the place.
The images, of which there is no precision of the time in which the action occurred, were echoed on social networks, where users have reacted furiously, asking for justice for the collaborator’s action, considering it as animal abuse.

“It can’t be… where and when was that?… that person should be imprisoned for animal abuse according to the Law,” said a netizen.
“I’m in prison as long as I have life,” another Instagram user commented.
So far, it is unknown if the case is under investigation by the competent authorities.
