The Provincial Mayor of Cusco, Víctor Boluarte Medinaconsidered that the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo Terronesmust find a way out of the political crisis in his message to the nation for National Holidays.
Boluarte indicated that the president must reflect on the political situation. One option, according to the mayor, is that announce his resignation or opt for a national concertation.
“The president of the Republic, on this July 28, has to reflect on the political situation: eventually announce a resignation, an early election or announce a concertation or national reconciliation. That is in their competence, ”he told La República.

The mayor stated that, if he opts for the consensual message, it is important that you acknowledge errors that have not contributed to stability nor to prosperity, but to higher inflation and instability in the country.
“I hope that the President of the Republic can rise to the occasion and encourage a consultation so necessary or in any case a mea culpa or some way out. An early election can be a light at the end of this dark stage, ”she asserted.
Likewise, he pointed out that this Government has not contributed or done anything for the development of the Cusco region. He referred that what the imperial region needs are relevant projects.
