Mayor of Caracas highlights achievements together with the leadership of communities in the first year of management

Alcaldía de Caracas destaca logros junto al liderazgo de comunidades en primer año de gestión

The mayoress of the municipality of Libertador de Caracas, A/J Carmen Melendezhighlighted the achievements together with the leadership of the communities, which have materialized in the different spaces of the Capital city as part of the first year of management.

From Plaza Bolívar, Meléndez stated: “We began our administration with a restructuring in which we wanted the entire organizational structure of the mayor’s office to be on par with the capitals.”

In reference, he stressed that after a year, the people of Caracas are ruling the city, he also specified the hard work of parliamentarians and councilors, when legislating municipal laws to favor the citizenry.

Also, the mayoress pointed out that the Managed Health Fund was created for public servants attached to the municipality. “We are serving pensioners and retirees and all the active workers of the Mayor’s Office of Caracas”.

Finally, he invited the population to visit the Municipal Palace, where the informative exposition of all the government achievements in Caracas during a year of management was held.
