The mayoress of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, celebrated this Monday the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Barrio Adentro Mission, with a special deployment in the parishes of 23 de Enero, La Pastora and San Pedro.
This is how he made it known, through the social network Twitter, @gestionperfecta, where he published a video and emphasized that they have been working for 20 years, “we are in a health deployment with all medical specialties, Barrio Adentro as a single government working to serve our people,” he said.
He thanked the Cuban Medical Mission for the accompaniment in these 20 years and for providing, together with the health committees, in the neighborhoods of Caracas and in the communities of the country, well-being to the Venezuelan people.
He stressed that the national government celebrates these 20 years of Barrio Adentro Mission“to continue, in a coordinated manner, the 100% rehabilitation of each of these facilities in Caracas.”
The mayoress highlighted that it has been 10 years under the management of the Commander Hugo Chavez and 10 years under the leadership of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who keeps alive the legacy of the eternal leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.
