After an extraordinary security council in Bogotá, Mayor Claudia López explained that the authorities have identified nine criminal organizations that have carried out various irregular activities in the city, among which is the Aragua Train.
The mayor of Bogotá (Colombia), Claudia López, requested this Tuesday the 6th to take measures from the Government of Venezuela on the cases of the main leaders of the Aragua Train, who lead the megagang from the Tocorón penitentiary center (Aragua state), with the objective to “isolate” them.
López asked the Colombian ambassador to Venezuela, Armando Benedetti, to formally require the Venezuelan government to effectively isolate, “if possible this week” the criminals who call themselves “Niño Guerrero” and “Giovanny.”
This request was also made to the Foreign Ministry of his country, as was the Venezuelan ambassador to Colombia, Félix Placencia.
He explained that isolating these criminals could prevent them from continuing to coordinate irregular activities from Tocorón. “They are detained, but not isolated (…) they continue to direct activities with repercussions in Bogotá,” the official insisted.

He explained that among the gangs detected, three structures stand out that are in the midst of constant confrontations, in order to gain power from criminal income, and one of them is the Venezuelan cross-border gang.
