Mayor Meléndez: Working class remains in resistance despite difficulties

The mayoress of the Libertador de Caracas municipality, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted this Monday that the Venezuelan working class has remained in resistance and at the forefront, to continue working for the homeland, despite the difficulties of recent years, as part of the attacks by of which the Bolivarian nation has been a victim, by imperialism.

“We thank the workers and workers for all the resistance they have had, despite the difficulties of recent years, here we are at the forefront, at the forefront to continue working for our people, to continue building the homeland that we all deserve and all”.

During the march in commemoration of International Worker’s Day, the also vice president of municipal and regional affairs of the PSUV, took the opportunity to recall that this May 1st marks the 11th anniversary of the creation of the Labor Law, which was signed by Commander Hugo Chávez “and that our President Nicolás Maduro has carried with great responsibility.”

Finally, he urged the workers present in the mobilization to follow the guidelines of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to continue working together in this era of rebirth and thus build the prosperity and future of the country.
