The mayor of Soacha, Juan Carlos Saldarriaga, has unleashed a controversy in recent hours by being recorded in the traditional festivals of the municipality in breach of the protocols and biosafety measures.
In a video published on social networks, the local president is seen “without a mask” supplying them with a drink through a gallon to some citizens who do not wear the mask, during the closing of the Festival of the Sun and the Moon.
“It is an irresponsible act of Mayor Juan Carlos Saldarriaga, taking into account that we are in a pandemic and even more so when the message of the local authorities is self-care for each of the citizens,” said Soacha councilor Wilson Rodríguez to Snail News.
