“I want to clarify that when we talked about the province, we were referring to participating as a sports province, that is what we want for the district, and then we will see the issue of the eleventh province, that is an issue that must be addressed at another level with the National Assembly , with the executive and with other important actors, but at this time we want San Miguelito to be able to participate with its athletes as a sports province,” said Carrasquilla.

Carrasquilla came up against publications that reported that he was going to seek to make San Miguelito the eleventh province of Panama as a campaign proposal for the upcoming elections.

“San Miguelito with a large population, which already has all the structures at the government and private company levels, but that is by phase, it is by stage, first we want to consolidate the potential of the athletes of the district, we have everything to compete as a province sports, that is our fight and then we will see the issue of the eleventh province, that is another issue.
