Zulia’s 3rd Court decreed a sentence consisting of 30 years in prison for Sabino Antonio Fernández Rangel (54) and Alfredo Alonso García Lugo (61) for his responsibility in sexual violence against his 12 -year -old neighbor, the Public Ministry reported.
Such fact was detected on November 24, 2022 through a complaint filed by the adolescent, in the company of her parent, before the Bolivarian Police Corps of the Zulia State (CPBEZ), in the city of Maracaibo.
Through the complaint the teenager said that García Lugo invited her to her home in the four -year -old urbanization (where they were neighbors), located in the Francisco Eugenio Bustamante parish of the Zulian capital, to deliver a little corn that would serve to make cotugar. Once he arrived at the site, he took her by force to one of the rooms and forced her to maintain sex, says the prosecutor’s story.
Similarly, the victim said that another neighbor named Fernández Rangel had also abused her inside her home.
Upon knowing the situation, and after the medical and psychological tests that were practiced, police officers apprehended the next day to both men in the aforementioned urbanization to make them available to the Prosecutor’s Office.
In the trial, the 35th Prosecutor’s Office of Zulia ratified the accusation against Fernández Rangel and García Lugo for the aggravated sexual violence commission to the detriment of the aforementioned adolescent, a crime for which they were convicted.
