Inhabitants of the sector assure that the sewage pipes are collapsed and cry out for the attention of the municipal authorities and the state of Carabobo
Surrounded by sewage, 60 families live in the Máximo Romero sector, in the municipality of Valencia, in the state of Carabobo. There its inhabitants have begun to report skin infections and affectations due to the bad smell that emanates from the putrid liquid.
“The sewage pipes are collapsed and the liquid runs freely through the streets of the town to the point that we have been cut off from communication due to the overflow of this bad-smelling liquid,” were the words of César Zamora, who asked the authorities maintenance of drainage in the area.

They claim to be living in these conditions for six months. Residents of the Máximo Romero sector denounce that the sewage pipes began to collapse and the liquid now circulates daily through the streets of the community.
Estela Albornoz is one of the locals and reveals that the continuous overflow of sewage begins to generate skin infections, vomiting and diarrhea among the most vulnerable residents.
“When it rains, the black water even gets into our homes and when we are cut off from the flooding of the streets, we necessarily have to make contact with the liquid and thus go out to find sustenance for our homes,” he stressed.
The residents of the sector are clamoring for the maintenance of the sewage pipes and drainage to avoid major damages among the inhabitants of the town.
