The national deputy of the Frente de Todos (FdT) and president of the Partido Justicialista (PJ) of the province of Buenos Aires, Máximo Kirchner, recalled that Mauricio Macri said that “with 10,600 million dollars he can build” the rail transport system “more world,” but warned that the former president, “with the money the IMF gave him, could have built four, one on top of the other,” but “he did nothing.”
“It should draw powerful attention that he (Macri) had those famous 44 billion dollars that he borrowed. He could have started, he could have done, not the most modern rail transport system in the world, he could have done four, one above the another, and did nothing,” said the national deputy when speaking at the closing of the VI Meeting of the Federal Human Rights Network that was held on the premises of the former Esma.
“The truth is that what one enters there to think, to ask, compañeros and compañeras, is why does this type of thing penetrate our society, how do they penetrate,” asked the head of the Buenos Aires PJ and affirmed that it is “because we don’t allow for a serious debate.
On the other hand, he referred to the debt with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and stated that “we were told that we were irresponsible for the sole fact of asking to propose to continue negotiating better conditions for Argentina with the IMF” and maintained that ” better conditions mean rational conditions, not ideological, rational, mathematical, numerical conditions that have to do with being able to comply with debts that the Argentine State has taken on with the human development of a society”.
Likewise, regarding the government of Cambiemos, he remarked that “the Argentine right, the one with the myth of efficiency, because they confirmed that efficiency was a myth, that of managers in public office, that of CEOs designing public policies, failed. “.
Kirchner also referred to the attack against Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and those who are being investigated by the justice system, pointing out that “it is not a sector of society that feels that no one listens to it, it turns on the TV and listens to itself”, it is “almost a symbiosis between these groups in terms of language and ideas that are heard.”
He also alluded to the speeches of the most radicalized sectors of the opposition and affirmed that “this violent right, which stigmatizes everything it can, which feels that it is not docile, which feels that it does not obey it, is always ready to run the margins of the democratic agreements that we Argentines have decided to live and that has been built since the return of democracy back in 1983”.
Kirchner also highlighted the work of human rights organizations and said that “reality also marks that beyond the appropriation of boys and girls, many of them recovered by the tenacious work of the Grandmothers, sometimes with the help of the State other times not, but always with the help of the people”.
In another part of his presentation, he referred to the debate in Brazil between the presidential candidates Luiz Inácio “Lula” da Silva and Jair Bolsonaro.
“Yesterday I watched the debate between Lula and Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro’s aggressiveness about the figure of Lula,” he said, warning about “the impudence when speaking, of not being able to discuss a country project, and basing everything on personal aggression, in common senses.
