The president of the Buenos Aires Justicialista Party and national deputy Máximo Kirchner, the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro, and the Chief of Staff of the province of Buenos Aires, Martín Insaurralde, participated this Friday night in a meeting to close the year together with more than 2,000 militants from Lomas de Zamora.
The meeting was held at the Quinta de Perón in San Vicente and was attended by national and provincial ministers, legislators, mayors and Peronist mayors of the Province, it was reported in a statement.
“Those 12 years could have been good because there were political leaders, a president and fundamentally a president who decided to punish the most powerful in Argentina in order to put his people on their feet and defend the interests of Argentine citizens. “said Kirchner at the meeting
“I want to thank you for the accompaniment and affection that you have always given Cristina, and that she has been able to return in every government action, in every political action or whenever she has the opportunity to speak to defend them and propose a better future for them” , indicated.
Meanwhile, De Pedro called those present to “Let’s start the engine of the militancy of the province of Buenos Aires” and asked “to go out and walk door to door, house to house, city by city, neighborhood by neighborhood to go out and win in 2023. We are going to work and we are going to the military to rebuild ourselves.”
Later, insaurralde stated that “today much more is at stake than a simple election” and added: “They not only wanted to kill Cristina, who is our greatest leader, but they want to outlaw her.”
Within this framework, he asked “to think about the difficult moment that democracy is experiencing. Today there is no other slogan that is not ‘mafia or democracy'” and said that “there is no possibility of democracy with these power groups.”
The meeting was also attended by the president of the Chamber of Deputies of the province of Buenos Aires, Federico Otermín; Senator Juliana Di Tullio; the Minister of Habitat of the Nation, Santiago Maggiotti; the Buenos Aires Minister of Infrastructure, Leonardo Nardini.
