The event took place at Arenas Studio, a space for audiovisual productions in La Boca, facing the Río de La Plata. During his speech, Mauricio Macri made it clear that the PRO will not merge with La Libertad Avanza (LLA), the party led by Javier Milei.
Despite acknowledging some of Milei’s ideas and achievements, Macri was critical of the president’s entourage. According to Macri, Milei has clear ideas, but lacks the ability to implement them effectively.
This criticism focused on the lack of a solid team and the difficulty of managing a state co-opted by the militants. Macri also stressed the importance of building efficient and well-structured teams, something he considers a virtue of the PRO.
In his speech, he mentioned that the PRO is willing to collaborate with Milei’s government, offering cadres and technicians who can strengthen public administration. However, he stressed that it is a challenge to help someone who is not willing to be helped, referring to President Milei’s attitude.
The event was attended by several governors, mayors and historical representatives of the party, although notable absences such as those of Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta were evident.

Bullrich, who has been in conflict with Macri over the leadership of the party, and Larreta, former mayor of Buenos Aires, did not attend the event, reflecting internal tensions within the PRO.
