Massive turnout at youth employment fair

More than 1,200 young people applied for the 706 job vacancies that private companies offered through the Ministry of Labor, within the framework of the “Employment Week” during the week.

The applicants presented themselves at the face-to-face job fair that was held at the headquarters of the National Service for Professional Promotion (SNPP), in Asunción, and others applied through the digital platform Vidriera de Empleo, on the website of the Ministry of work.

Among the job positions offered are staff for fast food restaurants, external salespeople, for customer service, external sales executives, telemarketers, cashiers, stockers, butchers, bakers, forklift operator, truck drivers, computer technical assistant, operator excavator, junior mechanics, among others.

The vacancies correspond to private sector companies installed in the Capital, in the departments of Central, Paraguarí, Presidente Hayes, among others.

People interested in a job must register in the job market and then access the vacancies available on a weekly basis and others that have not yet been filled at this link. Likewise, they can do so in person at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Employment of the State portfolio, located on Avenida Perú, corner of Río de Janeiro, Asunción.

From the General Directorate of Employment, officials will communicate with the people who apply for the different positions through the digital platform of the State portfolio to guide them on the steps to follow before the interviews with company representatives.

During the “Week of Employment and Young Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Labor carried out training campaigns, especially in technical trades to quickly find work in companies or carry out their own profitable ventures.
