According to report of the Cuban News Agency, the incident occurred this Saturday at noon when the driver of a Grupo Azcuba truck lost control of the vehicle and fell on the slope known as Loma de los Blancos, in the vicinity of Loma de la Window.
One person died at the scene and the rest of the injured – including a minor – were transferred to the hospital, where they were received and treated by specialists in the Red Code Unit, according to information provided by Jorge Luis Nodal Cordero, communication specialist of the GAL.
Two of the patients remained under treatment in the Neurosurgery room and the others are in the Observation room, all without danger to life. As for the minor, after being evaluated by the Aldereguía Lima medical group, she was transferred to the Paquito González Cueto pediatric hospital.
