The president of the Chamber of Deputies and appointed Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, reiterated that next “Monday and Tuesday” he will communicate the names of those who will accompany him in his new role, affirmed that on Wednesday he will take the oath and then offer a press conference in which it will communicate “the work plan, objectives and axes to be addressed”.
“I would like to convey a clear roadmap to avoid versions, speculations or false measures in the alleged study,” Massa wrote in a thread posted on his Twitter social network account.
In that sense, he reported that “on Monday and Tuesday I will communicate the names of those who will accompany me in this new responsibility that I have to face.”

He also pointed out that “in addition, the special session has been agreed on Tuesday where I will present my resignation as president of @DiputadosAR” and “my replacement will be appointed as head of the Chamber.”
“On Wednesday the president @alferdez will swear me in and then at a press conference I will communicate the work plan, objectives and axes to be addressed, as well as the mechanics of the first 10 days that will give us a path to follow and the challenges to face as a country,” he said.
Along these lines, he maintained that “I respectfully ask you not to take things for granted beforehand in terms of names or measures so as not to generate uncertainty or false expectations.”
Massa was appointed last Thursday as head of the Ministry of Economy, which will unify the portfolios of Productive Development and Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
