The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, assured this Friday that the growth of the industry in November shows that his management at the head of the economic portfolio is “on the right track.”
“Since the beginning of the management at @Economia_Ar, 150 days ago, we set out to achieve fiscal order while maintaining the level of activity and employment,” Massa said in a message on his Twitter account.
According to the head of the Palacio de Hacienda, “the industry numbers for November, with both year-on-year and month-on-month growth, show that we are on the right track.”
In November, industry grew again both year-on-year (1.9%) and month-on-month (1.2%).

Likewise, Massa retweeted a thread of messages from the Secretary of Industry and Productive Development, Ignacio de Mendiguren, on the same social network.
De Mendiguren remarked that “in November the industry grew again both year-on-year (1.9%) and month-on-month (1.2%)” and stated that “At @produccion_arg we have the mandate to sustain growth while the entire team of Sergio Massa continues to order the macroeconomic variables”.

The official recalled that “formal work has already recorded 21 consecutive months of growth. The employment rate for the third quarter is the second highest in the entire series, which begins in 2003.”
“In November, in addition, we reached the historical maximum of exports for the month. The government launched the country’s dollar factory and we made progress in the structural change that Argentina needs to grow with more inclusion,” completed the also leader of the Union Industrial Argentina (UIA).
