The Santa Cruz deputy Daysi Choque (MAS) summoned the media to censor the burning of the Santa Cruz Peasant Federation, but ended up attacking the former president, Evo Morales, whom he called “cursed” for issuing a statement by the national leadership of his party against the bench and the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies.

“I want to say here with great pain, to Mr. Evo Morales, our former President, damn it, for whom we gave our lives, we gave our freedom, where the fuck are you now, attacking our president, instead of going to defend, Instead of supporting our government elected by the Movement for Socialism, they are attacking us,” shouted the head of the MAS caucus in Santa Cruz.

The deputy was referring to a statement that issued the MAS in the afternoon where it censors the way the leader of the bench was chosen and the president of the Chamber of Deputies. The document bears the signature of the entire national leadership of the masimo, except that of Evo Morales. In the same describes as gonistas and allies of the governor of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, the entire bench that displaced Gualberto Arispe of the bank leadership.

“We denounce that the pact of betrayal and opportunism with the coup to illegally take over the presidency and leadership of the MAS-IPSP caucus in the Chamber of Deputies has begun to show its submission to the interests of the reactionary and racist extreme right wing”, states the MAS statement and was published at a time when in Santa Cruz there was a wave of violence, which began with a march of trade unionists opposed to the strike, escalated with the burning of the headquarters of the Single Trade Union Federation of Peasant Workers, in addition to violence with repression in the COD.

“Instead of defending and helping the people of Santa Cruz, where the hell is our fight, where is that ‘governing listening to the people’? When we were leaders we defended you, we gave the face in all the moments, where are you now damnYou are abandoning us again. Today as a leader, your duty was to support a democratic government in these difficult times, ”Choque claimed to the head of his party on the verge of tears.

For the MAS there is a “cell” of infiltrators that seeks the ‘right-wing’ of the MAS government which led to Luis Arce as president and David Choquehuanca as vice president. “They used the MAS-IPSP acronym to come to power and now, in coordination with authorities who are not militants of the instrument, they are persecuting our leadership. and they cover up corruption, drug trafficking and the crackdown on justice”, states the letter in an open allusion to the government ministers, Carlos Eduardo Del Castillo; of Justice, Iván Lima; and the interim president of roads, Henry Nina.

“I was a leader, I was imprisoned by you, you abandoned me in jail and now you are still in the same situation, do not be interested only in power, also defend this government that you yourself helped to elect”, the also single-member deputy of constituency 52 claimed loudly.
