Half of the tests in El Alto are positive
The person in charge of taking nasal antigen samples from the Ambulatory Reference Center (CRA) in El Alto, Gabriel Ticona, reported that about 50% of the people who are tested for coronavirus are positive.
“The cases are not decreasing so far. Half of those who come to take the test are positive. We are giving the recommendations, they are also given the medication kits,” he said.
The doctor pointed out that between 70 and 80 nasal antigen tests are carried out every day and priority is given to people who present any symptoms or who have been in contact with a positive case.
