MAS also criticized Trump and demanded that Maduro know where the gasoline is

Felipe Mujica, general secretary of the MAS, considered that Trump’s statements are understood if he only sought to give the government arguments to blame the US for all the bad things that happen in Venezuela. He also asked for explanations of where the gasoline of the Venezuelans is

The Secretary General of the Movement for Socialism (FURTHER), Felipe Mujica, joined the general rejection of opposition politicians and the administration of Nicolás Maduro regarding the words of former US President Donald Trump and Venezuelan oil by saying that it was a “crazed and unacceptable statement.”

Mujica stressed that such statements, which show that they want to exert an alleged interference in Venezuelan crude, must be rejected from two points of view. In this sense, he assured that one of them from the position of the Executive “which later links it to other political sectors of Venezuela” and the other where people wonder if Trump is an ally of Maduro; He also expressed his doubts regarding what the former president said because he added that in the history of humanity, it is difficult to find that “a personality of these dimensions, with that level of responsibility, one day comes up with something like that.” manner”.

For this reason, the MAS leader indicated that the statements made by Trump can only be understood if they were made “with the intention of giving arguments to those who, from the government camp, blame everything that is happening in Venezuela on the sanctions.” of the North American empire, copying in carbon what the Cubans have done since the sixties”.

In turn, Felipe Mujica related this situation to the recent shortage of gasoline in the country and recalled that several months ago there was a corruption scandal in PDVSA that splashed the current former minister Tareck El Aissami, wondering what the status of it is.

In this sense, he stressed that the Executive owes an explanation of what happened to Venezuelan crude because, in his opinion, the only thing that is known is that those in power have no way of rescuing it while they talk about the country having the greatest oil wealth in the world.

“If indeed Donald Trump says that he was not the one who took the oil, we Venezuelans must ask ourselves, then who took it? Because a country like this, full of gasoline, full of oil as it has always been, why is a circumstance of this nature happening again at this time? We Venezuelans need to know where our gasoline is,” said the general secretary of the MAS.

“We bet, as we already said, that this would turn out well and we compare it with the behavior that Venezuelans, specifically the Barineses, had in the last election they held where, despite all the inconveniences and the things that happened, they could see that there was a candidate who deserved their vote and that was the one who won,” he concluded according to a press release.
