The investigative journalist, Mary Triny Zea, referred this Thursday to the investigation entitled “Panama, a flag of convenience for illegal fishing and lack of control on the high seas” by the digital newspaper Bloomberg.
Zea highlighted that this was a joint effort with Michelle Carrere of the Mongabay digital newspaper, which was published the first part on Monday, June 13, and at 11:00 am this Thursday the second installment of this journalistic work will be broadcast.
He explained that this investigative work began in February of this year at the hands of the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) and the Aquatic Resources Authority of Panama (ARAP). It covers the control of the flagging of ships that carry the Panamanian flag.
